This place is an unassuming little joint in Goleta. If you want fancy, you will be disappointed. If you want super table service, you will be disappointed.
If you want a low key place with food served by a family then this place will suit your fancy. The food is wholesome and real. The people working here are a family that just works.
The food was tasty and hot. The number of locals having a meal and beer made the place comfortable. I will return. -

Hands down, best chile relleno...like ever. I dare you to find me a better one. Been coming to this place for years and it's always so consistent in quality.
Super friendly staff and attentive service. A real gem in Old Town! -

Excellent food and service. Vegetarian Burrito was so big! Filled with rice, beans, mushrooms and peppers. Good little salsa bar. The service was great. Our server was patient, helpful and considerate.

Basic.
Waited such a long time for my order of chilaquiles and was even wondering why it would take so long. When I got my chilaquiles, they were cold!!!! On top of that, the server didn't apologize for the wait or anything just came and dropped off the bill without eye contact or a word. ??? Whatever. If you're craving quality chilaquiles, you're better off going else where. They weren't even tasty or spicy. -

Love that they have tacos cooking out on a grill in the front! My friends and I checked out live music at Mercury Lounge across the street and we were hungry after that. I got al pastor/adobada tacos because that's my favorite taco protein. The people working here were super friendly and made the tacos fast. They had a little salsa bar thing on the other side.
Once you order, they make and form the tacos then put it on the grill. They cook the meat and put it on the taco and it's up to you if you want to put anything on it. It was delicious and we were able to sit inside to eat. Parking around the area late at night is easy but we had trouble finding some parking when we were trying to get to Mercury Lounge probably around 7pm/8pm. They also take credit cards.
So based on my experience, I give this place 5 stars.
Editing because I forgot to add that the art work inside is beautiful! Check it out if you can!
